I will never forget Dr. Bucciarelli as he was instrumental in my career at the University of Florida. His family was family to me. I will never forget this Amazing man!
Dr. Bucciarelli was instrumental in my development as a nurse scholar through the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation Nurse Faculty Scholars program. He was a tough, but fair critic, who encouraged me along the way. He will be missed. Blessings on the family in this time of loss.

Dr. Bucciarelli was instrumental in my early research career in pediatric palliative care, specifically related to legacy-making. He mentored and encouraged me in my quest to enhance life for children with life-threatening conditions. Dr. Bucciarelli's legacy lives on in young researchers like myself who were honored to have received mentorship from him. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family and loved ones.

Dear Lynda, Amy, and Chris,
Our thoughts and prayers are with you all during this difficult time. Even though we have not seen you all much since we all moved from Rock Creek, we still treasure the times we shared with Chris and Sarah, sharing birthdays, homework times, and just playing in the neighborhood. Sarah thought so much of Dr. Bucciarelli, as we all did. He was such an advocate for children and will always be remembered for all he did for others. Keep those great memories alive.
With love,
Wiley, Kathy, and Sarah Dixon
Lynda, Amy, and Chris,
We were saddened and comforted at the same time to hear of Rick’s peaceful passing among family and close friends. We share in your loss with love and friendship and will sorely miss his uplifting, indomitable spirit. With our most caring thoughts and prayers, we remain your neighbor and friends. We are “on call” for whatever you may need.
Sincerely,
Peggy & Glen Heedy
