For many of us in the Laura Stewart Bridge Group, Rachel was an inspiration as she never let the constant pain she was experiencing dim her bright and friendly personality. She was a great bridge player as well -- although she always said she played her best when she had good cards. I am sure she has only good cards now. We'll miss you, Rachel
Looking through the floral arrangements of course makes me think of Rachel. The memories go back to the shop in Paulsboro. You have to be energetic, and detail and beauty oriented to do that work.I remember her coming to Ed's cabin in the winter to gather ground pine for the grave blankets. I didn't know there were grave blankets until I knew Rachel Mecholsky. Fare thee well, friend.
My loving thoughts go to Jack and Sue. And the same to all Rachel's grandchildren and great grandchildren. She put her mark on us.
