Pat was the very first neighbor I met in Gainesville, when we lived in a rental house in her neighborhood. She was wonderful in welcoming and showing me around the town. I also remember being at her home for supper and having a "great" drink, fortunately we only had to walk across the street to get home!
I saw her just a few months ago at a concert at Santa Fe College. We both loved the Gainesville Orchestra, and although aging she seemed happy and well. I know it is a great loss for all your family, but remember all the good times with your mom.

My memories of Pat start when we were in kindergarten with a special group of Camdenites and continued through our graduation in 1951. I miss Pat; knowing she is not here with us anymore. I will be "digging" out our year book to refresh my failing memories.

i have wonderful memories of pat as kids growing up in the same neighborhood .we had great times sledding on river road hill and playing summer games with our brothers and sisters.many good memories of high school days as well. so sorry.

David and I send our condolences to all of Pat's family. As a classmate of Pat's, I came to look forward to seeing her at the Florida Camden reunions that our Class of 1951 began in 1998. David and I visited with Pat in Gainesville on one of the last trips that we made to Florida. I passed the info of her passing to the classmates I had email addresses for, and received acknowledgements from all. One classmate recalled a memory of Pat's kindness the first time this classmate attended school in Camden from an outlying elementary school. It is a tribute to Pat that she has left a legacy of integrity and honor.
