My thoughts are with Harry's family and friends. I only spent time with him for one year in graduate school at UF but I was in awe of his intelligence, curiosity and kindness. He opened my eyes to ways of thinking about psychotherapy that I would have never considered were it not for him. I've thought of him often since then and am grateful for the gifts he shared with me.
My condolences go out to the family. Dr. Grater was an amazing therapist and gentle soul. He changed my life and will forever be in my heart. To me he was Dr. Brilliant. He had a dry sense of humor that I grew to find comforting during many of our meetings. Thank you Dr. Brilliant for taking me through the toughest journey of my life. I will never forget you. I am thankful for the opportunity to spend time with Harry recently. He was kind, humorous, creative, gifted with people, and a true servant. He will be greatly missed by many many people.
